Amaing Color 10/19
I am back in Arizona and my head is spinning. After a week of traveling and two days of cleaning out the motor home I went into my studio and just stood there….. All the stitching stuff I took with me for the summer and all the stitching stuff I acquired at seminar and all the stitching stuff a good friend of mine shared with me and all the UFO’s I left behind has me wondering where to begin. 🙂
While on the road I managed to stitch 3 blocks. Not much progress but at least some. I will be able to go to my LNS next week and get more of the Dye Works colors that I am running short of. I get nervous when I am low on threads for a project.
Now I must get back to my studio and begin the process of sorting, rediscovering and organizing what is all just sitting in bins on the floor. It will be fun but it will also cause me to have to decide what I really want to do……me the queen of finished projects is acquiring many UFO’s and I feel guilty. Anyone else ? Do your UFO’s bother you ar not ?
STITCHLADY'S ADVENTURES 
Yes, my UFO ‘s have finally gotten to me. In the last month I have purchased lots of lucite boxes from The Container Store and organized, inventoried, and entered into a database ally threads. Now I tackling the UFO’s themselves, taking pictures of them and indicating what threads, if any, I have for each project. I also indicate what I still need. This week I took several small UFO’s to my LNS and got the threads I need. Starting tomorrow I intend to spend one day on a UFO, the next on one of my class projects, then back and forth. No hope I will ever get everything done, but at least I will know what I have.
My UFO’s do bother me. I was going to make this the year I finished some stash, but it did not happen. But there is always next year! I am trying to finish a few projects before I start any new. Although your Amazing Color piece is calling me. Wonder if my LNS has the chart?
My UFOs don’t usually bother me, but now they do! This year I signed up for way too many “monthly” projects. I am now hopelessly behind and that does bother me. So, what do I do? Start a new project of course!
I am so glad to hear that I am not alone in my worries about UFO’s. I have some friends who seem to think that UFO’s are the norm. Mary, you really went overboard in organizing your UFO’s..I don’t think I need to go that far but I congratulate you. Now I am going to go stitch more blocks om Amazing Color…..
