Tahiti

May 12, 2018

No I am not traveling…..although I wish I could.

When I finished Starburst Garden I wanted something fun to stitch. I am not ready to go back to Metalforms just yet.

From a basket that I won at our last ANG meeting I got the chart for Tahiti designed by Kathy Rees. I have done several of her designs and this one is bright and fun. I had almost forgotten what it was like to follow instructions that tell you just what stitch to put where.

Here is my progress this week.

I had the Watercolors called Tahiti and put together most of the other threads from my stash. If I didn’t have the exact color I used what I had that was close. The difference of a value here and there doesn’t seem to be noticeable. This design uses Watercolors, #5 pearl cotton and DMC/Anchor floss.

Beautiful! I, too, have the chart and now you have given me the inspiration to start stitching. Thanks!
