Finding A Finish

February 13, 2018

I am sure that I am not the only one who has several projects going at one time. I have several easy stitching projects going at one time…….and then I see another one I want to stitch and start it 😜😜. A few days ago I decided it was time to sort through my piles of stuff to see what I had forgotten about. At the bottom of my stitching bag I found this eyeglass case that was 99% complete. So while watching Olympic Curling 🥌 I finished it 🎉🎉🎉. Yes, I am one of the few who love to watch curling. My DH says it’s like watching grass grow…..consequently I spend time in my studio stitching.

The Stitch and Zip kit is all tent stitch. Fun to have one on hand to take on the road.

What a fun design. You make me want to get back to stitching – been on a hiatus for way too long!

We adore curling in our house – first events we look for on the roster!!! And I think masses of us are getting stitching done – I don’t even answer the phone during the Olympics – “Its’ the Olympics for goodness sake!”…

So onward to our own self stitching Olympic event, maybe it is working on backgrounds, or finishing up odds and ends – or sorting our stashes – it’s all Golden to me…

I watched Curling also and the Hamilton’s I believe! However, I can’t stand all the loud shouting! It really got to me!

I love the shouting ! It makes it exciting even though I realize it does not really do anything.

I used to think tent stitch was tedious! I love it! Will probably never finish it!
