White Noise Update
This project is going pretty fast. Having a good audio book to listen to encourages me to spend more time in my studio.
The background is proving to be more of a challenge than bargello backgrounds usually are. This is because there are scattered star-like areas that have to be compensated around. Also they are not done in any regular repetition so watching the chart is very important.
Neon Rays and Watercolors are the threads used in the background. My little wet sponge is getting a lot of use as I feel this is important to smooth out the card folds of the Neon Rays. The little stars are done in Neon Rays Plus. This is a white Neon Ray with silver metallic flecks in it. It is a little easier to stitch with as the folds are not as pronounced and stretching the thread works well. They are hard to see in the photos. With no contrast all the white just runs together unless you are looking at the actual stitchery.
Looking beautiful!!! I am amazed at your progress, I really struggled with this design. Good Job.
This design requires close attention to the charts, which are very good. Thanks for following my blog. Jan
