Orchid Growing

November 10, 2010

I spent several hours working on Orchid. I think my colors are coming together great. I have the outlines of the pomagranets done and the top inside colors done.  Bargello is such a calming stitch pattern to work.

Next comes the green interior.  This inside area uses the needle blending technique to make 7 values from 4 floss colors.

    Beautiful job!

I have just retired and I am returning to my Needpoint hoard I have accumilated for the past 30 years.

Needless to say, you are an inspiration for me to blow off the dust and get started on the numerous treasures!!
