Sedona Rain Complete
This week has gotten away from me. I completed Sedona Rain on Monday afternoon and haven’t started on a new project yet…..With family in town for Thanksgiving my stitching time was substantially reduced.
I received a comment that directed me to the Jan 2003 Needlepointers magazine. Sedona Rain won a ribbon at seminar that year. The stitcher made some thread and stitch changes and it looks awesome. I also noticed that the photo info said the piece was 12′ x 19″. My painted design is only 8: X 13″….perhaps that was the framed size. I enjoy seeing the same project done by different stitchers. Even using the same instructions they will all have their individuality.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for. As the holiday season decends upon us make sure to allow time for stitching and the calming effect that it brings into your life.
Now I am on to the fun of deciding what to stitch next
