Area 2, Step 1
The color is beginning to appear. The Watercolor is Fiesta, with DMC 938, brown perle #8 and Krienik #8 braid #029. I have the Watercolors and perle done and the Krienik is to be done today. The Watercolors is a byzantine stair step. It creates all the little squares. These will be filled in with alternating mosaic with the perle and metallic. Step 2 shows the perle mosaic.

Stunning – Fiesta has a fabulous range of vibrant colors! And, for someone who didn’t start stitching until a day or 2 ago, you made wonderful progress. Looks like that stair step works up quickly. It fits the angle of that corner nicely. Melita

What a beautiful piece. Love how the mosaic stitch is looking with the overdyed thread.
Does the Watercolour Fiesta have that blue in it? Whenever I pull it up on a chart, I can’t see any blue in the strands.
