Double Up

I know you have been waiting for my next project to begin………seminar pre-work for both classes that I have signed up for.  I picked the classes without even considering any required pre-work. 

Double Up is a class taught by Ro Pace.  I have wanted to take one of her classes for quite a while.  The project is on 22ct sage congress cloth.  The color does not show true in these photos.  The pink is really a salmon color and a salmon overdyed…ahhh the challenges of getting true pictures.

In the photo to the left you can barely see the diagonal rows.  This is a Kreinik braid (#4) with a tent stitch done in one ply of Silk and Colors.  Lots of counting and I have left the end threads loose until I can make sure the count is right.  Much easier to make an adjustment, if one is needed.

My DH and I are pulling in the slides on the MH and leaving AZ on Sunday for three months up in the Northwest.  Of which four weeks will be spent on the Oregon coast.  I can use an “ocean fix”.  My postings may be scattered.  We do have satellite internet so I hope not to be away too long.
