2009….Wow.  I get to start the year by selecting a new project.  I have completed my four way bargello project and I enjoyed it very much.  It was a great project to be working on during the holidays as it was easy to put down and pick up.

I added a bit of poison in the red areas.  I just felt that it needed something,  I find that,  personally, I have a hard time working in monocromatic color schemes.  I just have to splash some color somewhere.

What surprised me the most happened when it was done and I took it out of the floor frame and was admiring the finished project.  I turned it on point and the design just popped…….What do you think ???  If I were to frame this I would definately hang it on point.  The stitched area is 6″ X 6″  and I wonder if it could be the center of a pillow.  I will have to give that some thought.
